MOL Online & Nursing Information

You may have seen and are concerned with the ship dates published on other pages of this website.  Please understand that these restrictions are directed to the 5,000 students who live on campus.  We are happy to ship books to MOL Online and Nursing Students any time after the web page is activated for the upcoming semester.

What happens if the bookstore runs out of a book:

There are a variety of reasons for book shortages.  Some students tend to register on or just before classes begin.  This causes the bookstore to guess at the number of students when placing book orders.  We do check enrollment as your start date gets nearer but it is likely that higher than normal enrollments won’t occur until it is too late for timely restocking.  Students can help us with this situation by ordering their books a couple weeks before class.  Please keep in mind too that, if the bookstore does experience a shortage, we will order extra books via 2nd day air at our expense.

You may have also noticed that, even if you do order early, the bookstore may not have the book in stock yet.  Like shortages, book delays are as diverse as the titles used in your program.  Books can be delayed by weather, shortages in the publisher warehouses or for reasons relating to your instructor.  Due to the dynamic and sometimes unpredictable nature of enrollments, it is not unusual to see changes in teaching assignments and/or additional sections added just prior to the start of a term.

How to return a book for a refund:

Please refer to our return policy listed under customer service. We do, however, understand the challenges of distance learners and are happy to make a few exceptions. If you prefer and/or you received your books in the mail, you can return them by mail to Barbara Warner % Gonzaga University Bookstore Lower COG Spokane, WA 99258-2465.  Please include a copy of your web order invoice

How to sell books back to the University:

If a book you’ve used is being used again and we need it, we’ll buy it from you for 50% of the price you paid for it.  Keep in mind that some classes are not offered every term so we may not need it at the time you finish with it. You can now use the" SELL" located on top of home page or "TEXTBOOK BUYBACK" bottom of home page.  We buy books throughout the year with the exception of a few weeks either side of the start of school when we are too busy and have most of the books we need already.  Your chances of selling a book back for the most amount of money is highest during finals week (May and December) on campus.   When selling your books be sure to include the following information in the package name, mailing address and your student id number. If you have any questions, please email warner@gonzaga.edu
